HVAC Cleaning Operative

We are currently looking for an HVAC Extraction Unit Cleaner to start immediately for a client of ours based in Gateshead.

This role is remote and will involve travelling, with the requirement to stay away from home. You could be away for 14 days at a time.

The rate for this role is £13.00 per hour and £18 per hour for overtime. You will receive a daily meal allowance, and accommodations will be provided.

This position involves night shifts onsite at customer locations, stripping down, cleaning, and reassembling large kitchen extraction units.

Responsibilities of the HVAC Cleaner:

1. Cleaning of Local Exhaust Ventilation Systems
2. Cleaning of Kitchen Extraction Systems
3. Kitchen Deep Cleans
4. General Cleaning Duties

As an HVAC Operative/Industrial Cleaner, you will need to have:

1. Ability to prioritise workloads
2. Good attention to detail
3. Willingness to learn new roles and take on supervisory responsibilities
4. Ability to work at pace
5. Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and equipment
6. Knowledge of Health & Safety, Manual Handling, COSHH, and risk assessments
7. Ability to understand and read instructions
8. Previous experience in a similar post
9. Ability to work as part of a team
10. Full Driving Licence preferred but not essential

This is not a regular cleaning job and doesn't involve cleaning offices, etc.

This is a long-term opportunity with the chance to grow within the business and gain certificates such as IPAF/CSCS.
