AUDIO VISUAL ENGINEER

SMART HOME AUTOMATION & COMMERCIAL INTEGRATION

£30,000 TO £35,000 PER ANNUM

Are you passionate about cutting-edge technology and high-end smart home automation? Our client is looking for an experienced Audio-Visual Engineer to join their dynamic and forward-thinking team. The client specialises in delivering state-of-the-art AV, home automation, and security solutions in luxury residential and commercial environments.

Your Role

As an AV Engineer, you will be responsible for the installation, configuration, and maintenance of advanced technology systems, ensuring flawless performance and high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Installing and programming smart home automation systems such as Control4 and Crestron.
2. Setting up structured cabling and IT networks, including WiFi solutions.
3. Installing and maintaining CCTV, access control, and intruder alarm systems.
4. Designing and implementing TV reception systems (SMATV, MATV, IRS).
5. Configuring lighting control systems, including Lutron, DALI, and DMX.
6. Installing and commissioning audio-visual solutions such as home cinemas, video walls, and PA systems.
7. Ensuring impeccable workmanship and attention to detail in every project.

What The Client is Looking For

We're seeking a skilled professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-quality environment and has a keen eye for detail.

1. 3+ years' experience in smart home or AV installation.
2. Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
3. Experience in construction and installation.
4. A CSCS card or CEDIA/InfoComm qualifications (preferred but not essential).
5. A professional, reliable, and self-motivated individual.
6. Non-smoker, due to the nature of the working environments.
