Associate Business Development Manager

Censis Technologies is at the forefront of innovative software solutions built to ensure traceability, increase productivity and improved outcomes in the healthcare perioperative workflow. With the industry's most capable and comprehensive cloud-based surgical asset management system, our goal is to help healthcare facilities get the maximum value out of every surgical procedure. We are aiming to streamline the lead generation process, enhance efficiency and boost conversion rates through strategic funnel creation and management. We are looking for a dynamic Associate Business Development Manager (BDM) to join our team and contribute to our mission of driving sales success.

Position Summary

As an Associate BDM, you will play a pivotal role in building and optimizing sales funnels for our commercial sales team. Your primary responsibility will be to collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to execute and monitor effective sales strategies that attract and nurture leads at the top of the sales funnel. This position offers a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills in sales strategy, digital marketing, and analytics while working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Execute sales funnel strategies that effectively capture and nurture leads from initial customer interest to entry into the Censis sales funnel where you will hand-off to an assigned Business Development Manager using established Funnel Management standard work.
  2. Consistently achieve or exceed key performance indicator (KPI) targets to drive successful lead generation outcomes.
  3. Monitor and analyze funnel performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing adjustments to strategies as needed.
  4. Partner with the sales team to ensure seamless transition of leads through the sales process, optimizing conversion rates.
  5. Deliver appropriate sales presentations and sales collateral material to effectively communicate the Censis value proposition to potential clients.
  6. Conduct pre-sale work, such as client hardware equipment assessments and post-sale activities, such as document capture, to assist Business Development Managers with increasing overall sales velocity.
  7. Stay updated on the latest lead nurturing and customer cold call techniques and tools while honing your overall sales skill toolbox.

Qualifications & Skills

  1. Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  2. 1-3 years of experience in sales, marketing, or a related area, with a focus on lead generation, lead nurturing, and early sales funnel management.
  3. Ability to execute established sales strategy and document activity according to Censis standard work expectations.
  4. Ability to effectively qualify potential clients and nurture leads to maximize conversion rate. High resilience mindset that fuels desire to succeed in heavy cold call driven role.
  5. High energy, positive attitude and ability to quickly establish rapport with potential customers via phone or in-person sales calls.
  6. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  7. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  8. Familiarity with CRM software, email marketing tools, and analytics platforms (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, Google Analytics).
  9. Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment and navigate through ambiguity to achieve company goals.
  10. Consistently maintains a positive, can-do attitude, fostering a collaborative and supportive work environment while inspiring colleagues to achieve their best.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 56,900-105,700
