Southwark Council is seeking an energetic and passionate Deputy Team Manager to oversee our Hospital Discharge Transfers of Care during critical weekend periods. This unique role, with a 36-hour workweek spanning Friday to Tuesday, offers the perfect opportunity to lead a dedicated team while ensuring that patient care and safe discharges continue smoothly through the weekend.

Our team is dedicated to managing the complexities of hospital discharges, safeguarding concerns, and care planning with precision and compassion.

NOTE: This role requires the Deputy Team Manager to be in the office at St Thomas Hospital and or Kings College Hospital with frontline colleagues on average 4 days per week. This role cannot be carried out working from home, apart from scope of approximately 1 day/week working from home for more administrative parts of the role.
