Job description
Harvey Nash's Client is recruiting for an Assistant Laboratory Diagnostician on a 6-month contract.
- Providing support to the virology team for receipt, preparation, processing, and statutory virus testing of plant (potato) samples (leaf and tubers).
- Manual and glasshouse work: lifting and handling large bags of potatoes for planting, maintenance, sampling, and testing of potato material.
- Working within a quality assurance laboratory management system compliant with UKAS requirements for accredited tests.
