Assistant Claims Manager – Marine & Energy

Location: London/Hybrid

The Opportunity:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Claims Professional to join our Marine & Energy team in London as an Assistant Claims Manager. In this role, you will enhance your skills and knowledge by managing a diverse portfolio of claims, including Energy Liability (with a significant proportion from the US) and Marine (covering cargo, specie, and ports and terminals). Additionally, you will provide management and support to your wider team across multiple locations.

With hybrid working and excellent benefits, you will be working alongside colleagues in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are looking for an insurance professional who is looking to further their career in insurance.

Your new role:

  1. Ensure that the team follows processes and procedures to ensure compliance with both statutory and corporate service standards and statutory regulations.
  2. Maintain efficient handling of own caseload (mainly high value US Energy Liability claims) to ensure the prompt, timely and effective handling of Claims.
  3. Provide superb customer service combined with Claims excellence and develop relationships to meet customer needs.
