Job description

Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager required to join a manufacturer who specializes in advanced cutting tools for CNC machining.

The Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager will be based from home in the East or South East of England and travel between Kent and Essex to develop new business and increase sales with key accounts. You will support customers with technical queries, present on new cutting tools and offer technical solutions to customers.

This role requires a technical background and prior experience operating, programming, and setting CNC machines. You will hold a relevant qualification such as a HNC / HND / Degree in an engineering discipline. We welcome applications from candidates who may not have an engineering qualification but possess experience in cutting tools and precision engineering / CNC.

Package:

1. Basic Salary up to £55,000

7. Remote role in the East / South East of England covering Kent and Essex

Responsibilities:

1. Travel across the East and South East of England to develop new business and increase sales with key accounts.
2. Support clients with technical queries, present on new cutting tools, and offer technical solutions to customers.
3. Build relationships with clients and source new business through lead generation, presentations, and attending industry events across the South East region.
4. Manage a sales pipeline through a CRM system.
5. Complete detailed reports on your sales activity.
6. Report to the Sales Director.

Requirements:

1. Prior experience as a Technical Sales Engineer / Business Development Manager / Area Sales Manager / Applications Engineer / Sales Engineer / Regional Sales Manager or similar.
2. An engineering qualification such as an HND / HNC / Degree or similar in an engineering discipline OR experience operating, programming, and setting CNC machines.
3. We are open to receiving applications from candidates who may not have an engineering qualification but do have experience in cutting tools & precision engineering / CNC.
