An established industry player is seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to drive sales of linear motion products across the Midlands. This role involves managing key accounts, developing new business opportunities, and working closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction. You will be responsible for selling a diverse range of mechanical power transmission products, including electric motors and gearboxes. Area Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Account Manager

Will join a manufacturer and supplier of linear motion products such as linear guideways ball screws, single axis KK units, bearing supports, and linear actuators.

Responsibilities

Must have experience selling electric motors, gearboxes, gear units, and or similar.
Will manage key accounts within the mechanical power transmission sector via distribution channels and OEM customers.
Covering the Midlands, managing and developing an existing client base and also be able to bring on new profitable clients.
Selling a range of products in the mechanical power transmission industry, such as bearings, couplings, drives, motors, gearboxes, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics.
Identifying and acquiring new market potential.
Liaise with the internal and external sales team.
Willingness to travel across the Midlands that include the counties Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire.

Requirements

Experience as a Key Account Manager, Account Manager, Area Sales Manager, Sales Engineer, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or similar within the mechanical power transmission industry.
Previous experience in selling into the mechanical power transmission industry, such as bearings, couplings, drives, motors, gearboxes, chains, pulleys, belts, hydraulics, pneumatics, and or similar.
Must have a Full UK Driving License and willingness to travel the Midlands across Warwickshire, Worcestershire, Leicestershire, Staffordshire, Derbyshire, Nottinghamshire.
