Prescribing Practitioner (ANP/Paramedic) - Somerset

A Good CQC rated GP Surgery in Somerset is looking to hire a Prescribing Practitioner on a permanent PT basis. The practice is looking to offer 16 hours p/week. The ideal candidate will come from either a Nurse or Paramedic background. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will be expected to:

Assess, Diagnose, Treat & Refer
Sign Repeat Prescriptions
Perform Clinical Examinations
Conduct Face 2 Face Consultations

The Practice has an established MDT management team and can support you to lead on key areas of service according to your specialist areas of interest.

The Practice utilises EMIS Web and holds a list size of around 9,000 patients. The practice comprises of a highly skilled acute team of Nurse Practitioners and Paramedic Practitioners who manage all on-the-day demand, acute home visiting and the minor injury service for the locality.
