Job description

Your new company Hays are working exclusively with a lovely family-owned SME organisation in Nuneaton who are looking to recruit an Accountant with payroll experience. The company are specialist leaders in their field and are based in lovely offices with parking.

Your new role

This is an all-round role looking after a number of companies within the business and providing a full range of day-to-day accounting duties including payroll on a monthly basis. You will input all invoices, deal with the bookkeeping to trial balance, VAT returns, and other ad-hoc duties. Other duties include preparing the monthly management accounts and liaising with the external Accountants. The company have long-serving employees and this role would expect someone to roll up their sleeves and be very hands-on. This is a full-time position but consideration would also be given to someone who is looking at a part-time role (possibly 3 days per week). The company are based in the office but there is some flexibility given on working from home.

What you'll need to succeed

You will be an experienced SME bookkeeper/Accountant with knowledge of payroll. You will be happy to work in the office and looking for a role for the long term. Candidates from industry or from Practice would be considered for this position.
