Salary: £14.10 per hour (depending on experience) plus monthly KPI bonus
Hours:4 on 4 off working pattern
Job Type: Temp to Perm, Full-time

About the Role:
CBW Staffing Solutions is recruiting for an experienced 360 Materials Handler to join a leading company in the waste management sector. The successful applicant will be responsible for operating a range of machinery, including the 360 Materials Handler and Wheeled Loading Shovels, ensuring smooth and safe operation on site. This position offers opportunities for overtime and long-term career progression within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate the 360 Materials Handler and Wheeled Loading Shovels to maintain the safe and efficient operation of the site.




• Conduct daily and weekly maintenance checks on plant machinery, ensuring refuelling, lubrication, and greasing are carried out. Report any defects or breakdowns promptly.




• Follow H&S regulations, site rules, and safe systems of work to maintain a safe working environment.




• Ensure the work area is kept tidy and free of hazards, with clear access to walkways and emergency exits.




• Provide a high level of customer care and service quality.




• Use appropriate PPE and safety equipment at all times.




• Report contamination, accidents, incidents, or environmental hazards immediately to the Supervisor or Manager.




• Undertake training as needed, including operating other plant equipment or performing supervisory duties.




• Assist in waste management activities, including manual handling tasks, as required.




• Work closely with other operatives, providing support when needed, and as authorised by the Supervisor.

About You:

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience operating 360 Materials Handlers and Wheeled Loading Shovels.




• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.




• A good understanding of H&S policies and procedures and a commitment to working safely.




• Flexibility to cover different tasks and work in varying conditions.




• Strong time management skills and the ability to prioritise work effectively.

Desirable:

• Experience in the waste management industry would be a plus, but not essential.
