Job Introduction

As a 2nd Chef at Sodexo in Wavell Mess, Aldershot, you're ambitious about culinary excellence, and we understand the true strength it takes to be a chef! What you’ll do:

  1. Assistance with running service/preparation/other duties of the busy working kitchen
  2. Ensuring strict adherence to all EHO guidelines and systems
  3. Working with the FOH team to drive service excellence
  4. Monitor sanitation practices to ensure that employees follow standards and regulations
  5. Prepare, produce and present food to the highest standard

What you bring:
  1. NVQ lv 2/3 or a busy kitchen environment experience
  2. Basic IT skills
  3. Experience in menu production and confident input
  4. Exposure to bulk cooking
  5. The enthusiasm to develop and learn new skills

Package Description

40 hours per week
£11.88 per hour
5 out of 7 days including weekend.
Early shift 0600-1430 Late shift 1230-2100 weekend 800-1900
If no qualifications kitchen/chef experience then you can have a trade test on interview if successful undertake and complete NVQ within 18 months paid for by Sodexo.
