Why is this role open:

They are growing and looking to add a skilled Residential Designer to their team to support their expanding portfolio of high-end residential projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work as an integral part of the Pre-Construction Team to design and contribute to the success of various high-end residential projects.
• Conduct initial design consultations as part of the sales cycle, determining concepts and project budgets.
• Develop full design specifications packages, including working drawings, millwork packages, details, and reflective ceiling plans (RCP).
• Select materials with clients and suppliers.
• Manage and procure finishes, maintaining budgets for all selections.
• Coordinate materials/finish selections to job sites.
• Oversee templates, measures, and installation of custom details.
• Communicate effectively with clients throughout the project.

Must-haves:

• 2-4 years of experience in residential design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office (including strong spreadsheet skills).
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail.
• Growth-oriented mindset and willingness to learn.

Nice-to-haves:

• Customer sales experience.
• Proficiency in Revit.
• Completion of an accredited interior design program.

Remote/Hybrid: This role is based in the Waterloo Region and requires on-site presence.
