VHIR offers a vacancy for a Laboratory Technician position within the Rheumatology Research Group – IMID-Biobank.
Education and qualifications :
Required :
- CFGS (Advanced Vocational Training) – FP2 Laboratory Technician or equivalent
- Fluency in Catalan, Spanish, and English (both written and spoken)
Experience and knowledge :
Required :
- Experience in biobanking and molecular biology
- Experience in tissue processing
- Experience with automated laboratory equipment
- Experience in Quality Management Systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Access
Personal skills :
- Highly organized and adaptable
- Detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to high-quality laboratory work
- Strong team player with excellent collaboration skills
Main responsibilities and duties :
- Handling, processing and storage of biological samples and associated data
- Maintenance of laboratory paper and electronic records
- Maintenance of laboratory equipment
- Stock control of consumables and reagents
- Experimental support to investigators
Labour conditions :
- Full-time position : 40h / week
- Gross annual salary : 21,000 euros. Salary ranges are consistent with our Collective Agreement pay scale
- Contract : Technical and scientific activities contract linked to the project activities
