We are looking for a colleague in Sales Support to strengthen our European Team to join Wilhelmsen at Wilhelmsen Ships Service in Germany.

The position: No two days are ever the same in this dynamic maritime environment. In this position, you will be the backbone of the German sales department and an active counterpart of our customers, by supporting on a wide variety of administrative and commercial activities. In this function you will report to the Sales Manager Germany, Poland and Baltics based in Hamburg.

About the location / department: The Sales Support Team in Germany is part of an international Sales Support Team, covering the Northern European countries and consists out of experienced colleagues within the maritime industry, supporting each other where necessary as well as sharing knowledge. The Sales Support Team works in close collaboration with Sales department, Customer Service, Credit and all related business units supporting sales. The position is located in our office in the heart of Hamburg and is therefore easy to get by with public transportation.
Who you are: We are looking for a highly motivated, customer-oriented person. Ideally, you are experienced as Sales Support Coordinator or similar commercial administrative functions. Preferably you already have a solid understanding of the maritime industry, but if not, we will consider those with the right attitude and desire to learn. You should be a proactive and flexible person, balanced with an analytical working style who likes to work in a dynamic environment. You have a commercial mindset and like to assist to make a difference for our customers and internal stakeholders. Having the ability to work independently by structured planning and organizing your own work against deadlines, as well as being a team player.
