Our Service Desk team is looking for a team player with a business head and analytical skills to coordinate projects and tasks within our Backend Engineering group in Hotel Search. In this role, you will be responsible for the data update operations and excursions with requests from stakeholders across the company, and develop your project coordination skills by collaborating with our product owners as well as managing projects with external companies.

How you'll make an impact:

• Manage our content service desk (the platform where trivago talents can report content issues to the Content teams).
• Perform quality assurance of accommodation information to ensure that we only show high-quality content.
• Support other project managers/product owners on relevant initiatives (ideas come from everywhere!).
• Manage projects with external companies and provide ongoing feedback to ensure that project goals are met within set guidelines.

What you'll learn:

• How to collaborate within a dynamic and international team.

What you'll need to thrive:

• The ability to work 20 hours a week for at least 1 year.
• Currently attending a University in Germany and lives in commutable distance to our main office in Düsseldorf.
• Attention to details for spotting inconsistencies in our content.
• Excellent communication skills to manage interactions with stakeholders.
• Good organizational and management skills to effectively manage varying tasks.
• A positive attitude and the eagerness to work and learn quickly in a lively, multicultural environment and problem-solving mentality.

Stand out with:

• Familiarity with project management, quality assurance, user support or a similar role-relevant field.
• An educational background in Analytics, IT Operations, Software engineering or a role-relevant subject.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL and Python is a plus.
