In order to support the Frequency Management team, Airbus Defence and Space is looking for a

Working Student within Frequency Management (d/f/m)

You are a full-time student, looking for a working student position and want to get to know the work of Airbus? Then apply now! We look forward to you supporting us in the Frequency Management team as a working student (d/f/m) with approx. 18 hours a week!

• Location: Taufkirchen/Munich
• Start: April 2025
• Duration: 12 months

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Supporting interference simulations between different RF systems in MATLAB
• Develop software modules such as propagation models, antenna radiation patterns for incorporation into the RF simulation, including the development of relevant documentation.
• Support the development of technical reports for various international fora such as the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), a specialized agency of the United Nations.

Desired skills and qualifications:

• Enrolled student in Electrical Engineering, General Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or a similar field of study
• Basic knowledge of wireless communications, especially in calculating Link Budgets
• Advanced Programming skills, preferably with MATLAB
• English: Fluent
• German or French would be a plus
• You are a good team player, have excellent communication skills, and are able to work autonomously and proactively.
