Wording Specialist Engineering

Your tasks:

• Reviewing and analysing international terms and conditions, endorsements and clauses in the Engineering/Construction insurance
• Preparation of globally standardised terms and conditions, benchmarks and individual endorsements for HDI
• Answering questions from the underwriting community and translating underwriting intentions into proven policy wordings
• Developing and delivering training on insurance terms and conditions
• Liaising with the legal, claims, compliance and reinsurance departments
• Monitoring market developments and current case law
• Expansion of the AI-based wording tool

Your profile:

• Extensive, international experience in drafting contract-specific insurance policies and endorsements
• Proven in-depth knowledge of Engineering/Construction wordings with a clear understanding of the challenges associated with Engineering/Construction risks, such as market uncertainty and potential litigation due to unclear wordings
• Legal background is an advantage
• Excellent communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
• Business fluent in English, German desirable
