We are pleased to announce an opening for a Doctoral Research Associate (Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiterin, E 13 TV-L, 67%) at the Institute of Physical Chemistry, University of Münster. This 3-year position focuses on self-regulating soft materials, integrating photochemical and thermoresponsive systems.

Key responsibilities

• Developing a temperature-controlled feedback mechanism using light-induced reactions
• Applying laser spectroscopy to study molecular structures at interfaces
• Presenting and publishing research at international platforms

Requirements:

• Master's degree in chemistry, physics, or a related field
• Strong motivation, teamwork skills, and English proficiency
• Experience in optical spectroscopy is a plus
