Responsibilities
You will investigate cognitive modulators of pain and analgesia in health and chronic pain using functional / anatomical magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI / MRI) and pharmacological interventions.
Supervision of doctoral students.
The possibility of habilitation is given.
Ihr Profil
Candidates with a PhD-degree in Psychology, Neuroscience or related fields with documented research experience and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
Expertise in designing experimental behavioral, pharmacological, and neuroimaging studies using brain imaging methods (fMRI / MRI, PET-MR) and related software (SPM, FSL or nipype) is essential.
A profound knowledge of statistics and proficiency in at least one programming language (Matlab, R, python, etc.) is expected.
Excellent command of oral and written English is essential; German-language skills are beneficial.
Great communication skills, high flexibility, and strong commitment are essential.
