These Are Your Tasks

• Development of individual WordPress solutions: You will independently develop customized themes and plugins - not page builders, but real codebases that are scalable and performant.
• Further development of existing systems: You analyze existing WordPress solutions and further develop them to be performant, maintainable and expandable.
• Integration of external interfaces: You integrate REST/GraphQL APIs, databases and other systems into WordPress projects.
• Error analysis and performance optimization: You systematically get to the bottom of bugs, optimize loading times, cache strategies and ensure clean, efficient code - even in high-traffic environments.
• Technical maintenance: You take over the maintenance and protection of WordPress installations (updates, patches, backups, security).
• Frontend development: You bring modern web technologies into play (e.g. React in the Gutenberg environment or for headless setups) and design modular, reusable components.
  
  

• WordPress expertise at developer level: You know the WordPress architecture, hooks, the template system and can develop complex functions in themes & plugins in an object-oriented way - no pure PageBuilder experience.
• You have very good knowledge of object-oriented PHP, HTML, CSS, JS/TypeScript and React.
• You already have experience with WordPress Multisite as well as custom post types, taxonomies and user-defined fields (e.g. with ACF, but also without).
• Secure API connection: You have experience with REST APIs, optionally also GraphQL.
• Version control with Git: Git workflows (branches, pull requests, merge conflicts) are part of your everyday life.
• Basic understanding of MySQL: You can write and understand simple to moderately complex database queries.
• Experience with high-traffic websites: You know how to optimize WordPress for many concurrent users:inside (caching, query optimization, scalability).
• Structured, independent way of working: You can prioritize tasks, communicate clearly and work reliably (remotely) in a team.
