The Vice President, Loyalty Marketing and Sales is responsible for development and implementation of standards, procedures, and formats for the overall management of player/guest database profiles, program analyses, and reports, as well as, management, strategy and leadership of event/group sales and bus/motor coach departments.
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
Provide reporting and analysis of players’ club, slots, promotions, special events, direct mail, and air and bus junkets in partnership with Planning and Analysis Department.
Develop, implement and maintain standards and procedures for database, development, controls and maintenance.
Work with IS, Marketing, and other areas, as deemed necessary, to develop procedures for tracking slot play, and effectiveness of promotions and events.
Provide training, management and direction to ensure excellence in the performance of the Database Analyst.
Manage department’s financial data.
Review database activities with Vice President, Marketing.
Meet with department directors and managers.
Work with department managers and leaders in establishing Maryland Live as an active member of the Community.
Management, strategy and leadership of event/group sales and bus/motor coach departments.
Penetrate target areas and generate volume and revenue through bus/motor coach efforts.
All other duties as assigned.
Skills to Help You Succeed:
Broad variety of tasks and deadlines requires an irregular work schedule.
Knowledge in developing and maintaining major quality, and quantity databases.
Computer proficient with extensive experience with PC-based systems on AS/400 computer networks.
Working knowledge of advertising agencies, direct mail houses, air junkets for tour and travel.
Ability to analyze and interpret departmental needs and results.
Ability to use query systems as well as create new programs for profiling and analyzing.
Qualifications
Must-Haves:
Seven (7) to ten (10) years’ experience in data base systems and equipment for high volume business or industry with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role of people and processes.
A 4-year degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by multiple lottery agencies.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work extended hours across all shifts in a 24/7 work environment.
