We are seeking an exceptional VP of Marketing to join our executive leadership team at this critical juncture. This role is a rare opportunity to profoundly influence the strategic direction and future success of Mister Spex. As the VP of Marketing, you will be the principal architect of our growth initiatives, driving forward our objectives in customer acquisition, retention, and overarching financial performance. Your strategic acumen, coupled with a customer-centric, data-driven, and digitally adept approach, will be instrumental in positioning marketing as the linchpin of our continued success.

How you contribute

1. Strategic Marketing Leadership: Conceive, implement, and continuously refine a comprehensive marketing strategy to drive substantial growth and market expansion.
2. Media Investment Optimization: Strategically oversee and optimize media investments to maximize ROI and amplify brand visibility.
3. CRM Excellence: Lead CRM initiatives aimed at boosting customer retention and satisfaction through personalized, data-driven methodologies.
4. Brand Stewardship: Cultivate and elevate the Mister Spex brand, ensuring consistent, compelling messaging across all channels.
5. Innovative Social Media Strategy: Develop and execute forward-thinking social media strategies to enhance engagement and foster a vibrant community.
6. PR and Influencer Engagement: Direct PR campaigns and forge robust relationships with influencers to bolster brand credibility and reach.
7. Creative Excellence Management: Oversee the company’s creative hub, ensuring the production of high-caliber content that aligns with marketing initiatives and corporate objectives.

What you bring

1. Experienced Marketing Leader: Proven success in high-growth, international B2C digital businesses, with expertise in holistic marketing strategy and execution, particularly within the German / DACH market.
2. Strong People Leader & Communicator: Exceptional leadership, team-building, and cross-functional management skills, with a talent for setting KPIs and creating followership.
3. Highly Data-Driven: Proficient in performance and digital marketing, with a strong focus on KPIs, metrics, and data-driven decision-making. Able to model, interpret, and predict business performance.
4. Highly Commercial: Commercially driven with a strong revenue orientation, adept at driving traffic, conversions, and executing international go-to-market strategies. Capable of challenging operative decisions and making investment choices.
5. Content & Influencer Marketing Expertise: Deep understanding of content and influencer marketing, including the use of celebrities, with the ability to develop and execute integrated campaigns that engage customers. Strong storytelling and brand positioning abilities.
6. Culture Fit: Aligned with our collaborative, supportive, and data-driven culture, bringing a strong work ethic, positive outlook, and high integrity. Comfortable in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment, with an ambitious and curious mindset.
7. Soft Skills: Strong influencer, communicator, and collaborator with cross-functional management skills. Capable of creating long-term consumer relationships.
8. Language Proficiency: German native speaker with fluency in English.
