We are looking for a Vice President Service BU Pharma & Health (m/w/d) for our Pharma & Healthcare team. In this position, you will report to the CEO of the BU Pharma & Healthcare and the CSO of the Division Food and Healthcare Technologies. The main task is to develop the service business into an innovative and profitable growth dimension through forward-looking offerings. GEA Lyophil GmbH, located near Cologne, is a leading provider of innovative solutions in freeze-drying technology for the pharmaceutical industry.
Your responsibilities and tasks:
Steering and coordinating global P&H service activities
Transforming the service business from a reactive and centrally controlled organization into an actively managed service sales organization
Directly leading a core team of 5 direct reports and indirectly managing up to 150 employees worldwide
Developing and implementing a comprehensive service strategy for the Business Lines Lyophilization and Solid Dosages
Driving service sales in the Centre of Competences (CoC) with modern sales activities
Optimizing service pricing policies for all service products, spare parts, field services, upgrades, and service contracts
Establishing a competitive service product portfolio, complemented by digital enablers
Your profile and qualifications:
Degree in engineering and/or business administration
Experience in leading a team in a matrix organization with P&L responsibility
Strong leadership and change management skills
In-depth practical knowledge of modern methods and tools for organizing service processes
Broad knowledge in sales/service management/organization
