Job Title: HR Vice President (HRVP), EMEA Region

Reports To: Global Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO) and EMEA CEO

They are seeking an experienced and strategic HR Vice President for the EMEA region to drive HR initiatives that align with business objectives and support growth across the region. The role will be based in Frankfurt, Germany, and will report directly to the Global CHO and the EMEA CEO.
Position Summary:
The HR Vice President, EMEA, will lead the development and execution of the human resources strategy for the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with the global HR strategy and local business needs. This role will involve overseeing various HR functions, including talent management, employee relations, performance management, compensation and benefits, and organizational development. The HRVP will partner closely with regional and global leadership to support business objectives and foster a culture of engagement, inclusion, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic HR Leadership:
- Develop and implement the HR strategy for the EMEA region in line with the global HR strategy and business goals.
- Act as a strategic advisor to the EMEA CEO and Global CHO on HR-related matters, providing insights and recommendations to support decision-making.
- Drive organizational change initiatives and promote a high-performance culture that aligns with the company's values and objectives.
- Talent Management & Development:
- Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, and retention strategies to ensure the attraction and retention of top talent, particularly from retail, fashion, or hospitality sectors.
- Lead the design and implementation of leadership development programs and succession planning across the region.
- Support career development and training initiatives to foster a culture of continuous learning.
- Employee Relations & Engagement:
- Ensure a positive employee experience by implementing initiatives to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Handle complex employee relations issues and provide guidance on HR policies and compliance with local labor laws.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DE&I) initiatives across the EMEA region.
- Compensation & Benefits:
- Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs that meet local requirements and align with the company’s global compensation philosophy.
- Monitor market trends in retail, fashion, and hospitality to ensure the company's offerings remain attractive and competitive.
- HR Operations & Compliance:
- Ensure HR operations are efficient and compliant with regional and local regulations.
- Lead the implementation of HR systems and processes to improve HR service delivery across the EMEA region.
- Manage the regional HR budget effectively, ensuring cost-efficient use of resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; a Master’s degree or HR certification is a plus.
- At least 10-15 years of progressive HR experience, with a significant portion in a leadership role, preferably within the retail, fashion, or hospitality industries.
- Experience working in the EMEA region with a solid understanding of regional HR practices, labor laws, and compliance requirements.
- Strong track record of driving HR strategy and leading organizational change initiatives.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus.
