Role Purpose

In this role, you will be responsible for driving change and sales performance and leading the transformation of our sales processes on a global scale. Your focus will be on connecting digital and AI technologies to enhance the effectiveness of our sales teams and drive revenue growth. Help us connect digital and AI technologies to empower our salespeople and drive further business growth.

The role can be based in Bonn, Maastricht or, Brussels.

How will you contribute to the success of DHL?

  • Drive change and innovation by identifying and implementing strategies to improve sales performance and efficiency globally.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales development strategy incorporating digital and AI technologies to enhance sales effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with regional teams to align sales development initiatives and drive consistency across markets.
  • Lead the transformation of global sales processes, leveraging digital tools and automation to streamline workflows and improve productivity.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Marketing teams to ensure seamless integration of sales development efforts with overall business objectives.
  • Develop and implement training programs to equip sales teams with the necessary skills and knowledge to leverage digital and AI tools effectively.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in sales development, digital transformation, and AI technologies.
  • Pragmatically implement the new sales processes in the regions and countries; guide and stimulate the change in the sales reps' behavior on a global scale to make them better salespeople.
  • Work closely with vendors.

Do you have what it takes?

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in driving change and leading sales transformation initiatives on a global scale.
  • Strong understanding of digital technologies and their application in sales processes.
  • Experience in connecting digital and AI tools to enhance sales performance and drive revenue growth.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Previous experience working closely with Sales Operations and Marketing teams is highly desirable.
  • Understand the hands-on daily sales practice in the DHL Express world in the different sales channels.
  • Extensive experience leading successful sales teams, with a focus on strategy development and implementation across multiple countries.
  • Ability to clearly articulate sales strategies, plan implementations, and allocate resources effectively to ensure program success.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong track record of collaboration and effective work across all levels of a sales organization.
  • High energy, confident leader with a strong commitment to integrity, serving as a role model for regional sales leaders and their teams.
  • Deep knowledge of the Express environment, with at least 10 years of sales experience, including 3 years at the regional or country management level.
