UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) for cloud applications

Our Smart Factory department develops cloud applications that revolutionize the control, monitoring and analysis of industrial processes. To take the user experience of our applications to the next level, we are looking for a creative and detail-oriented UX/UI Designer (m/f/d) with a focus on industrial applications.

Your main areas of activity

1. Development of a HEITEC-wide standard for the design of intuitive and aesthetic user interfaces for our cloud and edge solutions in the industrial environment
2. Development of user-centered designs through the creation of wireframes, prototypes and design systems
3. Analysis and optimization of the user experience for industrial user groups, from plant operators (m/f/d) to IT administrators (m/f/d)
4. Working closely with developers (m/f/d), product managers (m/f/d) and industry experts (m/f/d) to translate technical requirements into user-friendly designs
5. Conducting usability tests and iteration based on user feedback
6. Ensuring that designs meet accessibility, performance and scalability requirements

What sets you apart

1. Completed studies or training in the field of UX/UI design, graphic design, human-computer interaction or a comparable qualification
2. Experience in designing applications, ideally for industry or technical environments
3. Confident in using design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD or Sketch
4. Knowledge of the implementation of responsive design and design systems
5. Understanding of the special requirements of industrial applications, e.g. visualization of machine data, dashboards and workflows
6. Creative approach, coupled with the ability to present complex technical processes in a clear and simple visual way
7. Ability to work in a team, independent working style and willingness to familiarize yourself with new technologies and topics
8. Language skills: Business fluent in German and English
