Meet your team

You work in an international team with highly motivated and creative interaction designers and user researchers. Besides UX, you work very closely with product management and engineering colleagues. Your team is mostly responsible for providing best in class User Experience for SAP’s Digital Supply Chain suite of solutions, very well integrated with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

What you'll do

As a User Experience Design Manager in Cloud ERP- Digital Supply Chain, you are leading a motivated team of interaction designers with a strong focus on PLM, Planning, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Asset Management solutions. Your main task is people and team development, which includes hiring the best designers with a focus on early talent, diversity, and inclusion. You foster strong connections and good communication in our team and build on our existing team spirit. You identify learning and development needs for your team members, support your employees individually, and help them to achieve their goals. You know the strengths of your team members and unlock their potential. In your role as line manager, you contribute significantly to strengthen the collaboration with PM and Engineering, and you are involved in stakeholder management as well as the strategic positioning of UX.

What you bring

1. You are a strong team player. Besides your wish to lead and grow a team of experienced designers and early talents, you want to increase the influence of user experience in your product area.
2. You can provide a proven track record of successful design projects for business applications, where your empathy for the end users is omnipresent.
3. 10+ years working experience in UX or very closely related fields.
4. Leading teams as a line manager or equivalent experience (e.g. as design lead).
5. Good knowledge of business processes and end user roles in at least one of the Digital Supply Chain business areas (e.g. PLM, Manufacturing, Planning, Logistics, Asset Management) is a plus.
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and German.
