Are you an experienced, ambitious (re-)insurance professional ready to drive meaningful change in the world’s largest reinsurance market? We’re looking for a highly motivated individual to help grow our US Treaty portfolio, working directly with the Founder & CEO in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership, forge key relationships, and play an integral role in building a reinsurance company from the ground up. You’ll be part of a nimble, entrepreneurial team building something big — with the chance to shape it from day one.

What You’ll Do:

1. Build trusted relationships with US cedents, brokers, and reinsurance partners, with regular travel to the US and London to keep you at the heart of the action.
2. Turn technical underwriting data into sharp, actionable decisions that move the portfolio forward.
3. Own and grow your portfolio, shaping You Re’s footprint in the US Treaty market — and sharing in the success you create.
4. Work side-by-side with the Founder & CEO, gaining direct exposure to strategy and decision-making.
5. No large corporate bureaucracy — at You Re, you move fast, take real ownership, and see the results of your work.

1. Proven underwriting experience, sharp analytical skills, and sound judgment — backed by a solid understanding of actuarial models and methods.
2. Passion for reinsurance and risk — from emerging tech exposures and crypto liability to financial risks and natural catastrophe claims — with a hunger to continuously learn and adapt.
3. A relationship-driven mindset, eager to develop and expand key partnerships.
