UI/UX Designer (m/f/d)

Your Role:

As a UI/UX Designer (m/f/d), your mission is to design an interactive UI for our geoinformatics team who will be developing Qt-based applications in QGIS, a leading GIS Software, and other 3D tools. Your main objective in this role is to collaborate with other geoinformatic developers to gather user interactive requirements and use cases to create a clean UI across all platforms.

Responsibilities

1. Design and implement high-quality UI designs and further developments for the QT applications.
2. Collaborate with the product and development team to understand and implement requirements.
3. Conduct user research and testing to continuously improve the user experience.
4. Maintain and develop our design system to ensure a consistent user experience.

Qualifications

1. Sound knowledge of UI design; advanced knowledge of UX design is an advantage.
2. Experience with common design tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD, or Figma.
3. A good understanding of usability principles and experience in designing user-centered products.
4. Creativity, innovative spirit, and the ability to solve complex problems.
5. Ability to work in a team and strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
6. Experience with 2D and 3D graphics development is a plus.
