The Performance Officer and Safety Specialist is responsible for the thorough investigation and analysis of all incoming Safety reports. This includes categorizing the reports according to the Safety Management System (SMS) tasks and conducting risk assessments. The specialist provides detailed feedback and statements to customer airlines, ensuring transparency and effective communication.
In addition, the specialist is tasked with preparing, analysing, and distributing KPIs, SPIs, quality reports, and various statistics on a periodic basis or upon request. This role contributes to continuous improvement, operational safety, and data-driven decision-making by providing accurate and timely insights.
The Performance Officer and Safety Specialist plays an active role in supporting the preparation, execution, and follow-up of internal and external audits, ensuring that all necessary documentation and processes are in place for a successful audit outcome.
Furthermore, the specialist is involved in cross-functional projects and actively contributes to internal initiatives aimed at improving operational processes, enhancing safety culture, and aligning with the strategic goals of the TUI Group.
ABOUT THE JOB
- Investigation of Safety Reports, SMS Task including Risk Assessment and Feedback to TUI-Airlines/customers
- Identifying problems within TUI GOC procedures and preparing corrective actions to avoid occurrences. In case of knowledge deficits, he must initiate training measures.
- Supporting the preparation, execution, and follow-up of internal and external audits
- Creating and preparing TUI GOC Trainings
- Coordinate new GOC projects and initiatives.
- Post processing of training measures and analysing the effort and benefit
- Preparing and analysing of TUI GOC KPIs and SPIs
- Responsibility to keep the TUI GOC QRH and TAS GOC Manual up to date
- Ensure compliance with current regulations and standards
- Close liaison and cooperation with Experts Navigational Systems and Dispatch Procedures and GOC Main Trainer
- Representing the Manager for Training and Compliance Standards during their absence
ABOUT YOU
- Education/Studies: Owner of the “German Flight Operations Officer License” or any other dispatcher license
- Work experience: Several years of experience as a Flight Operations Officer “Short-Haul “
- Several years of experience in Airline Operation
- IT knowledge: IDPS systems and Microsoft 365
- Language skills: Fluent in German and English
