WHAT IS THIS POSITION ABOUT?
To assist the Treasury Manager in the area of treasury reporting and analysis through: (1) preparing financial forecasts; (2) preparing market/regional/global requirements for financial reporting; (3) monitoring and controlling of cash flow; and (4) assisting in financial operations.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Local Entity Financing (3 entities)
- Responsible for the preparation of the 12-months rolling cash flow forecast. This includes data gathering, validation, consolidation, identifying variances/reasons for variances from previous cycle and flagging of insufficient/surplus cash.
- Responsible for preparing the weekly cash flow forecast and providing recommendations on the cash and debt position of the entity.
- Responsible for the preparation of the monthly variance analysis of prepared monthly forecast versus actuals.
Local Bank Relationships
- Monitoring of collections transactions with banks that are ADB-based pricing. Recommend updates in ADB requirements based on the latest trends of collections.
- Review of bank balances and rates, then provide recommendations to manager for potential short-term investment opportunities.
- Negotiate best rates for loans and FX transactions per transaction.
Treasury Reporting
- Preparation of monthly submissions of BS forecast to FX team. Handle and align variance queries and response with manager.
- Support in the preparation of reports of Treasury activities (such as Local Quarterly Treasury Updates, Monitoring of Collections Transactions, CMS Performance etc.).
Treasury Operations
- Manage daily cash operational requirements.
- Preparation of internal and bank requirements for loans, funds transfers, FX purchase, SBLC and other transactional banking needs.
- Bank account and users maintenance which includes securing internal approvals, coordination with legal and banks.
- Handle internal compliance requirements (such as SBLC control, Treasury related JSOX, etc.) and external audit requirements (such as BSP, BIR and Deloitte related requests relating to Treasury transactions).
- Handle new Cash Management Solutions Projects and monitoring/review of previously implemented ones.
- Support stakeholder (i.e. branch finance, GBS) requests and queries relating to Treasury operations, this includes endorsing user queries to bank.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
- University degree with Business Related Course
- At least 3-5 years professional experience in multinational FMCG company in similar role
- Fluency in English and Tagalog

- Maintain good working relationship with business partners.
