Transport Manager (m/w/d) Outbound Europe

How can you help us?

• You will lead and develop our Outbound Transportation Team across Europe, including 5 direct reports at our European locations.
• As an experienced manager in European road transportation, you will be monitoring the development of the European transport market and draw the relevant conclusions for efficient growth, according to Medline’s plan.
• You support the Director Transportation Europe in the strategic development and structuring of the road transport network.
• Responsible for overall operating and financial performance of our European Outbound Transportation functions, including 3PL management.
• Contact and Consultant for our internal stakeholders in terms of transportation topics.
• Driving continuous improvement, cost and efficiency.

Are you our match?

• Bachelor/Master’s degree in Logistics or similar with +5 years of experience.
• Specialist in the European Road Transportation Market, with additional knowledge in the rail, sea, and air sector.
• Good knowledge of customs processes and tariffs.
• Experienced in people management and leading remote teams in various locations and countries.
• Business fluent in German and English language. Additional languages come as a benefit.
• Experienced in TMS/WMS and ERPs.
• Ability to travel across Europe (around 30%).
