At SCAYLE Payments, TechOps are crucial in ensuring our Payments products are delivered and maintained efficiently and reliably. Product Operations is a collaborative effort involving close coordination with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and Risk & Compliance teams.

To continue our growth, we are seeking a highly organized and experienced TechOps (m/f/d) to join our team. As a key contributor, you will drive operational excellence, streamline workflows, and support the overall success of our Payments platform.

What you will do

Support the strategic vision, product discovery, and roadmap execution across our core product domains, ensuring alignment with business objectives and operational efficiency:

  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Finance, and Risk & Compliance teams to ensure seamless product launches and ongoing operational excellence.
  • Demonstrate expertise in optimizing processes, resolving operational challenges, and identifying technical dependencies that impact the product lifecycle and business outcomes.
  • Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify opportunities for process improvement and enhanced product efficiency.
  • Encourage logical reasoning and data-driven decision-making to tackle complex operational challenges and support the successful delivery of products.
  • Develop and refine processes to ensure smooth coordination between product management and cross-functional teams, focusing on continuous improvement and scalability.
  • Support the integration of financial systems and tools to enhance post-launch operations, including reporting, reconciliation, and payment processing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to drive operational efficiency, ensuring that products are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience working closely with product managers, ensuring seamless product launches and evolving software development practices in a fast-paced, agile environment:

  • You have experience working with payment service providers like Adyen, Klarna, PayPal, PayU, Nexi/Concardis, etc.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas, expectations, and complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • You have a proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational challenges, with a knack for finding effective solutions that optimize processes and enhance overall efficiency.
  • You are team-oriented, able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams, fostering cooperation, and building strong relationships to drive successful product operations.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, quickly adjusting to changing priorities and challenges while maintaining focus on long-term goals.
  • You are a role model for operational excellence, fostering collaboration, critical thinking, and a proactive approach to problem-solving within the teams.

Nice to have:

  • Project Management: Experience in managing projects, including the ability to plan, execute, and oversee complex operational initiatives, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile frameworks and practices, enabling effective collaboration with product development teams and the ability to adapt quickly to evolving business needs.
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics Tools: Proficiency with data analysis tools such as SQL, Tableau, Power BI, or Excel for deeper insights into operational performance and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Experience with Automation Tools: Understanding of automation tools and techniques to streamline repetitive tasks, increase efficiency, and reduce the potential for human error in operational processes.

Additional Information

Working model:

Due to the upcoming tasks and responsibilities for this position, it is required to work onsite at our headquarters in Hamburg on a weekly basis. Therefore we’ve implemented a hybrid working model that allows us to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and to work onsite from Tuesday to Thursday.
