Technical Sales Manager

A well-known Japanese chemical company is looking for a Technical Sales Manager to work in the Flexo Printing Department.

You will manage the communication with new and existing clients across Europe. The Technical Sales Manager will also be responsible for liaising with sales partnership agencies in Europe and Head Office in Japan, consulting on technical matters on Flexo Printing technology as well as developing sales and marketing strategies.

This role offers the flexibility to work from home but you need to visit clients site in all over Europe frequently (3-4 times per month).

TYPE : Permanent, full-time

WORKING HOURS : Monday to Friday 9AM to 5:30PM

SALARY : up to €100K (dependant on experience)

START : ASAP

LOCATION : Dusseldorf (Remote work from Europe is allowed)

Technical Sales Manager Main Responsibilities :

1. Managing client relationships, particularly with technical requests on Flexo Printing
2. Providing technical product information and promoting the products to clients
3. Supporting clients on testing Flexo Printing plates
4. Building and maintaining long-term relationships with clients and sales partnership agencies
5. Developing and conducting marketing and promotion strategies on Flexo Printing
6. Researching macro and micro markets, regulations, applications, and customer information
7. Proactively developing new clients across Europe
8. Identifying business opportunities and initiating contacts with new clients
9. Daily communication on sales and technical matters with the Head Office in Japan
10. Reporting effectively to management verbally and in writing
11. Attending and coordinating business trips with colleagues from head office
12. Experience of working with Flexo Printing is highly recommended
13. Experience of working in the printing industry with an understanding of Flexo Printing is acceptable
14. Experience in communicating with clients on technical matters
15. Business level fluency in English
16. Understanding of Japanese business culture or Japanese language is advantageous
