Our client is looking for a Technical Implementation Consultant to join their growing team!

The successful Technical Implementation Consultant will be responsible for the Implementation and configuration of customer reports (Excel/VBA/Macro) and for implementing the customer master data sheet (Excel) under the guidance of the delivery principal. Enhance quality implementation processes and procedures. Respond to customer requests and incidents (including ticket management) with specialist knowledge in technical configurations and business management. Using excellent communication skills in both German and English to keep internal and external users informed of status and progress.

The successful candidate will be based in Vienna or Munich, or working remotely.

What your day will look like :

  • Implement and configure business reports, validation rule master and implementation master documents as part of the configuration layer of our software and according to defined processes and procedures with a focus on accuracy and efficiency

  • Create and adapt dealer account mapping, XML compression config files and further process the files

  • Manage BI and BM tickets through their lifecycle and give regular progress reports to the end user

  • Record and deal directly with BM-related user queries using the local ticketing and support software

  • Liaise with internal and external customers with regard to data quality improvement in a professional manner and according to relevant agreements

  • Support and maintain good relationships with other colleagues

  • Work to deadlines and respond in a flexible way to the changing demands of the department and the business

  • Ensure that service delivery performance degradation is picked up before the customer becomes aware

  • Enter BM/BI-related technical faults in the internal ticketing system

  • Support with QA and Testing of BM/BI-related tasks

  • Answering customer calls and emails in both German and English language

  • Attend customer workshops to support Technical Project Management and Account Management on specifications and requirements

  • Give assistance with project service delivery implementation and system handover support

About You :

  • At least a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology or a similar related discipline is essential

  • At least 2+ years of professional experience in a Technical Implementation position or similar is essential

  • Experience with the automotive industry is highly advantageous

  • Business management experience is highly advantageous

  • Sound IT skills in Microsoft Office, particularly strong Microsoft Excel skills

  • Logical and systematic in the diagnosis and problem-solving management environment of IT Support services, looking for trends and root cause analysis

  • Strong entrepreneurial team playing skillset is required

  • A strong level of Math's and knowledge and understanding of Financial Accounting

  • Commitment and a desire to deliver a high level of service and solve issues in a quick and timely manner

  • The ability to remain calm and perform well under pressure

  • Ability to manage a diverse and demanding portfolio of activities

  • The ability to support and maintain good relationships with all colleagues, providing a professional approach at all times

  • An excellent spoken manner with strong interpersonal skills at a range of operational levels

  • Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills with the ability to articulate a directive accurately in both German and English is essential

  • Excellent organisational skills with a high level of attention to detail

  • Demonstrable experience or understanding of a business customer service environment and proven analytical ability in troubleshooting in a technical support environment

  • Experience using remote desktop support

  • Self-reliant, reliable and pronounced collaboration skills

  • Ability to prioritise work and good at planning ahead

  • At least a professional level of German and English, both written and verbal, is essential

  • Legally authorised to work in Austria/Germany
