Technical employee / test technician for the meat technology centre (m/f/d)

Non-academic position

As of 1 February 2025, we have a vacancy in the Department of Food Materials Science at the Institute of Food Science and Biotechnology. (100%, TV-L E10)

The technician supports the implementation of Bachelor's/Master's theses and doctorates in the planning and experimental phase in the EU hygiene-certified technical centre of the Meat and Analogues department. Participation in teaching, standardised analyses and measurements as well as evaluations of test results is expected.

Tasks/Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in Food Science with professional experience in the meat and/or analogue sector. Ideally completed apprenticeship as a food technology specialist or skilled trade with a food background.
2. Enjoy developing new products and teaching activities.
3. Ability to work independently and creatively in a team.
4. Enjoy working with young people (target group: 20-30 year olds).
5. Basic knowledge of English is an advantage.
