The Technical Director of Automobile is primarily responsible for defining and developing risk underwriting and policy issuance policies.

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):
The Technical Director of Auto Insurance is responsible for the comprehensive management of the benefits area, covering property damage, MTPL, and personal injury, including death, disabling injuries, and medical expenses.
They must ensure that the workflow in claims operations is adequate, from notification to compensation.
They also perform technical analysis of reserves, establish controls to avoid deviations, and manage cases declared late (IBNR).
They transfer their know-how and previous experience to the team, analyze internal organizational, personnel, technical training, process, and IT application needs to optimize the organization’s resources.
They define, direct, and establish the development of new products, the updating of existing ones, and the parameters and guidelines for their technical development.
They develop technical standards for risk underwriting, performance criteria, limits, and competencies for commercial and technical employees, and define criteria for renewal, portfolio management, and protection, as well as collection and receipt management policies.
Minimum Requirements:
University degree, postgraduate or MBA is valued.
German (C2) required.
Minimum of 7-10 years in positions with responsibilities in the technical management of automobiles, preferably in large entities or organizations.
Extensive experience leading the technical area of automobiles (individual and fleet), with strong implementation and execution capacity of strategies aligned with the direction of the board, forming and leading high-performance teams.
Proven experience in automotive portfolio turnaround processes.
