Technical Customer Support Engineer

The Visitech Group develops and produces projection systems for industrial applications. Our products are key systems in the fast-growing markets of additive manufacturing (3D printing), maskless direct imaging lithography for printed circuit boards, and advanced packaging, 3D metrology, and related fields of application. Our customers come from all parts of the world and are leaders in their markets and fields of application.

The Visitech Group is headquartered in Drammen (Norway), with production and sales companies in Dallas (USA), Shanghai (China), and Wetzlar (Germany). Visitech Engineering GmbH in Wetzlar manages sales and customer support for our additive manufacturing system solutions (3D printing) in EMEA and Asia (except China/Taiwan). In addition, the product development strategy for the segment Additive Manufacturing is coordinated here.

Responsibilities:

• Engineering and Application Support to international customers (remote and onsite)
• Implementation and operation of service and product maintenance center in Wetzlar
• Sales Support and customer claims management in sales region (EMEA/Asia/Oceania)

Qualifications:

• Educated technician or engineer with background/knowledge in engineering, optoelectronics, physics, measurement technology, industrial engineering, or equivalent
• Software skills desired
• Hands-on skills for product assembly and operation of opto-electrical equipment
• Customer orientation, confident demeanor, and good communication skills
• Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken
• Proactive and independent work, flexibility, and ability to work in an international team
• Willingness to travel
