Tech Lead (Saas / Platform Architect)

Your tasks

At ellamind, we are developing a groundbreaking platform that enables companies to improve AI applications faster and use them more efficiently to automate their processes. As Tech Lead, you will take on a central leadership role in the strategic development and technical implementation of our innovative SaaS solution.
Your responsibilities include:

• Technical leadership and strategic advancement of our platform, with special focus on scalability, maintainability, and technical excellence.
• Architecture design and technical decision-making for our distributed system architecture, supporting both cloud and on-premise deployments.
• Leading and mentoring a growing development team while staying actively involved in the development process.
• Establishing and optimizing technical standards, best practices, and development processes.
• Developing and monitoring the technical roadmap, considering business requirements and technological innovations.
• Conducting efficient, high-quality code reviews and mentoring the engineering team.
• Building and integrating AI agents that increasingly handle larger portions of the development process.
• Close collaboration with management to align technical possibilities with product visions.

Your profile

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in developing and scaling software platforms, preferably in SaaS or a fast-growing startup environment.
• Comprehensive expertise across the entire tech stack, particularly TypeScript/React/Next.js in frontend and Python in backend.
• Experience in developing and managing hybrid deployment models (Cloud + On-premise).
• Solid knowledge of DevOps practices, container orchestration; preferably experience in building and managing MLOps systems.
• Strong leadership qualities and experience in leading technical teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Fluent in German and English (minimum B2 level).
• Ability and willingness to work primarily from our Bremen office on-site.
