The Role - Your Passion
As Team Lead International Accounting (m/f/d) at Roadsurfer, you will have a direct influence on the design and management of the international finance department of a fast-growing company in the outdoor travel sector. You will actively contribute to the successful further development of our fast-growing finance department and will be in close contact with the local units, the central finance teams, the regional managers, and the operational departments IT, Sales, Marketing, etc. The International Accounting team plays an important role in our financial strategy, with the primary aim of ensuring the ongoing accounting of the international subsidiaries. In this way, you will contribute to driving the success of Roadsurfer in a dynamic environment.

Your Tasks:

• Management and further development of the International Accounting team (currently four full-time employees)
• Responsibility for all financial reporting and accounting for the international subsidiaries
• Ensuring compliance with international accounting standards and tax regulations
• Support in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements
• Development and standardization of group-wide processes and guidelines
• Optimization of accounting processes and implementation of new software solutions as well as standardization of existing ones
• Support and monitoring of international expansion plans in existing companies as well as leading role in the development of new international markets, in the development of the financial setup
• Close cooperation with local tax firms/accountants, regional managers, the accounting team of the German parent company as well as controlling and management
• Training and mentoring of team members

Your Profile:

• Degree in business administration, finance or a comparable qualification
• Several years of professional experience in international accounting, ideally in a start-up environment
• Leadership experience and a strong talent for teamwork and motivation
• Business fluent in English, knowledge of German desirable, other language skills are an advantage
• Proactive mindset and strong analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills and an empathetic leadership style
