Mission

For one of our clients located in Luxembourg City Center, Sofitex Talent is currently looking for a

Tax Compliance Advisor (M / F)

Together with the partners / Tax director, you will be responsible for the tax compliance obligations of our clients in Luxembourg. This includes the preparation of CIT / MBT and NWT returns as well as VAT returns, obtaining the relevant information, meeting deadlines and signaling opportunities and / or risks.

You will of course be in direct contact with our clients and you will interact with the other members of our team to ensure our advice is reflected in the relevant returns.

Responsibilities

1. Preparing tax returns for Luxembourg companies operating in real estate and private equity.
2. Preparing statutory tax provisions.
3. Analysing accounting information as well as clients' annual accounts.
4. Working on correspondence received from the tax authorities, circulars, tax opinions, as well as legal research in the tax code or in the double taxation treaties.

Profil

• Bachelor or Master's degree in tax, accountancy and / or economy.
• 2 to 5 years of work experience in a similar role.
• Fluent in English and either French, German or Luxembourgish.
• Ideally, previous successful experience at a “big 4”.
• Team player with positive energy and a growth mindset.
• Have a responsible attitude.
• Have good communicative skills.
• Organized and can manage several files at the same time.

This is an opportunity for an initial 3-month contract + possible extensions.
