Our product line Rolling Stock & Components offers products from the broadest portfolio in the rail industry. Our innovation focus is on green and smart solutions, including emission-free propulsion systems such as batteries and hydrogen. - Consolidate operational scenarios and operability requirements of functional features.
- Define the appropriate train functional architecture to meet internal and external requirements, including availability and safety.
- Develop concepts and designs in alignment with the team to establish the most suitable architecture that fulfills the needs and requirements.
- Create functional specifications, including derived requirements for the electrical architecture, train control, and subsystems.
- Manage subsystem integration, including technical requirement documentation, hardware and software interface management, and type testing.
- Support the validation of the functional design, including the preparation of test specifications.
- Verify the functional design throughout the development process by simulating functional models.
- Manage configurations and changes to ensure the integrity of the baselines.
- Drive decisions to enhance performance and prevent delays in the development schedule.

- Master’s degree in Engineering (Electrical or Software) or equivalent.
- Knowledge of software development, preferably in train control, as well as knowledge of bus systems such as WTB or ETB.
