Location: This position can be fully remote, but you must have a legal residence in Germany for payroll and compliance reasons. We have offices in Berlin and Munich and welcome applicants who enjoy occasionally working on-site with the teams.

The Role

As Sustainability Insights & Content Manager, you will be the driving force behind our ESG thought leadership and content strategy. You will act as a strategic guide for our marketing specialists, ensuring that all content and messaging align with market trends, regulatory developments, and our product capabilities. Your role is not about crafting perfectly polished marketing materials—that’s where our marketing team excels—but about ensuring accuracy, relevance, and impact in the foundational content. Your Responsibilities

• Market & Regulatory Insights: Stay ahead of ESG legislation, sustainability trends, and industry developments at EU level to inform our content strategy.
• Content Development: Create data-driven and authoritative content that provides value to our audience, ensuring that all materials are accurate, relevant, and impactful.
• Strategic Positioning: Guide marketing specialists by shaping the right messaging and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product, sales, and marketing teams to translate ESG topics and product innovations into compelling narratives.
• Sales & Marketing Enablement: Develop foundational content that supports go-to-market strategies and ensures our sales and marketing teams have the right insights at their disposal.
• Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitors’ positioning and identify opportunities to differentiate Daato’s ESG SaaS solutions in the market.
• Thought Leadership: Represent Daato’s expertise in ESG through articles, whitepapers, webinars, and other content formats.

What We’re Looking For

• Sustainability Expertise: Deep understanding of ESG legislation, frameworks, and sustainability trends at EU level.
• Industry Experience: 3+ years in sustainability consulting, ESG SaaS, corporate sustainability, or a related field where you have worked with ESG frameworks and market insights.
• Business Acumen: Ability to translate regulatory and market developments into strategic content and marketing guidance.
• Strategic Thinking: A keen ability to position products and solutions effectively within a competitive landscape.
• Communication Skills: Strong writing, storytelling, and presentation abilities to convey complex topics with clarity.
• Analytical Mindset: Experience using data-driven insights to shape content and messaging strategies.
• Collaboration & Adaptability: Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, product, and sales teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Creativity & Precision: Able to balance strategic vision with attention to detail in crafting compelling narratives.
• Language: Full business proficiency in German and English is essential
