Position Overview:
As the Supply Chain Manager, you will drive end-to-end supply chain operations, overseeing production planning, inventory control, and supplier management across multiple international locations. This role is crucial in optimizing supply chain efficiency, meeting product quality standards, and collaborating cross-functionally to align with the company's strategic objectives. You will ensure a seamless supply chain process that supports customer satisfaction and organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Global Planning and Production Oversight: Lead the planning and coordination of production schedules, demand forecasting, and inventory management across the supply chain to ensure optimal production and timely delivery.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance to ensure the supply chain strategy aligns with business objectives, fostering a cohesive approach to achieve organizational goals.
- Supplier and Partner Management: Manage relationships with global suppliers and manufacturing facilities across Europe, Asia, and North America, addressing constraints, enhancing production efficiency, and ensuring smooth operations.
- Performance Metrics and Reporting: Monitor key performance indicators such as forecast accuracy, inventory levels, capacity utilization, and cost savings, using data to drive decision-making and maintain high performance.
- Continuous Improvement Initiatives: Lead and implement process improvements across the supply chain, applying methodologies like LEAN and Six Sigma to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Problem-Solving and Risk Mitigation: Quickly address supply chain issues, including production capacity and supplier challenges, using root-cause analysis and establishing proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Management Cadence and Strategy Implementation: Conduct regular reviews with key stakeholders, reporting on strategic objectives, and implementing the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) to ensure alignment across the supply chain.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 3+ years in a supply chain management role, ideally with experience in continuous improvement methodologies (LEAN, Six Sigma).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and relevant certifications (e.g., APICS CPIM) are highly desirable.
- Leadership Abilities: Proven track record in managing complex supply chain operations, with strong collaborative and cross-functional leadership skills.
- Analytical Skills: Solid data analysis capabilities, with experience developing and monitoring supply chain metrics and KPIs.
- Flexibility for Global Collaboration: Comfortable with occasional evening meetings to align with global business needs and stakeholders.
