About the role
To support DP World's business growth in Europe as part of its end-2-end logistics strategy, the regional supply chain engineering analyst will be an important part of the department.
This person will provide expertise, advice and support, prepare reports and analyze data along the supply chains to optimize the value chains and professionalize DP World's offerings in the area of end-to-end solutions. Therefore, the analyst is highly qualified and has a broad knowledge of the world of supply chains and logistics, as well as their data sources and analysis methods.
Preferably, the candidate has industry experience (on the customer side) and in-depth supply chain knowledge, particularly on the system side (ERP), including procurement, production, warehousing and distribution.
How You Will Contribute
- Detailed analysis of client data and supply chain operations to support the development of improved value chain solutions to drive client growth and revenue for DP World.
- Ability to structure and create logical analysis/process models that lead to plausible scenario models.
- Process mapping and restructuring.
- Ability to quickly identify constraints and areas for improvement within a client's supply chain.
- Propose plans for process optimization, cost reduction and improvement of overall supply chain performance, including sustainability improvements and concepts.
- Create presentations and write reports.
- Meet deadlines and fulfill commitments.
- Review, update and manage expectations with project managers.
What You Will Bring
- B.Eng Industrial or BCom Logistics (Honours) or BCom Supply Chain Management (Honours) or Bachelor’s degree in business analytics / maths, with 4 – 6 years' relevant work experience (operations and/or analytics role).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data sets, draw insights and make practical recommendations.
- Experience and affinity with the assigned Industry Vertical. Exposure to and working knowledge of all facets of contractual requirement.

- IT skills - You are highly proficient in the following programs: Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel (Pivot, PowerPivot, PowerQuery), PowerPoint and Visio; You are able to provide analyzed results in PPT format. Familiarity with supply chain software and systems, e.g. ERP, WMS, TMS; Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools is a plus (PowerBI, KNIME or similar analytics tools).
- Flexibility to travel - You are ready to travel between 30% of the time across the region.
- Languages - You speak and write fluent English – additional languages are a bonus. You are a clear communicator and you consider and protect the confidentiality of company data at ALL times.
