to ensure the delivery capability of the Varian manufacturing organization in Kemnath and thus contribute to the success of Siemens Healthineers.

This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

1. You are part of the local quality management team and ensure that the requirements of the Varian quality management system for the radiotherapy systems manufacturing unit in Kemnath are met.
2. You are responsible for the quality standards regarding supplier quality in the manufacturing process and ensure the continuous delivery capability of our systems through their compliance, review, and optimization.
3. You act as the interface to suppliers regarding material quality and supplier management with a focus on audit security.
4. You qualify suppliers according to company standards and participate in supplier audits.
5. You monitor material quality from procurement to delivery in manufacturing. In doing so, you work in an interdisciplinary, international team and communicate and resolve supplier-related issues as soon as they arise.

Your qualifications and experience:

1. You have a degree in engineering or a technical/scientific field. Alternatively, you have completed technical vocational training and further education.
2. You score points with professional experience in (supplier) quality management in the medical technology sector or a similarly highly regulated environment. Experience in manufacturing is a plus.
3. Newcomers from other highly regulated industries are also warmly welcome! We provide all necessary training to fulfill your tasks in medical technology.
4. You have knowledge and experience in quality management systems, standards, and government regulations for medical devices, such as ISO 13485, MDSAP, 21CFR820, or a similarly regulated environment.
5. You have initial experience in SAP/MES as well as in MS Office and are willing to familiarize yourself with other IT applications.

1. You communicate fluently in German and English, both spoken and written, to easily interact within the team and with other departments.
2. You are willing to occasionally travel to our suppliers within the EU.
3. You are a team player and enjoy working in an international, interdisciplinary team.
4. You are willing to take on responsibility and work independently.
5. New tasks motivate you, and you have the ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new topics.
