The Supervisor Manufacturing & Process Engineering for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for leading the Manufacturing & Process Team.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Lead, manage and develop the Manufacturing & Process Engineering team.
• Drive engineering changes in collaboration with the R&D team and ensure correct implementation of design changes.
• Evaluate needed investment and assembly time of new production lines and cost-saving programs.
• Act as a change leader to define manufacturing methods (like work instructions, tools, jigs, Process-FMEA and checklists) for new and existing products.
• Engage with R&D to understand program roadmaps, project scope and set the right project teams.
• Ensure deadlines within the team are met and needed information is shared with relevant stakeholders.
• Coordinate resources and set daily priorities to meet operational objectives.

The essential requirements of the job include:

• Master’s degree in Manufacturing/Production or Process Engineering or similar and extensive experience in manufacturing processes (+7 years).
• Strong leadership skills.
• Experience in managing people and a strong technical background.
• Experience in the implementation of design changes in a manufacturing environment.
• Excellent technical skills (light assembly).
• Excellent production documentation skills.
• Excellent English and German skills.

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

• Experience in ISO 13485.
