In this role, you'll work closely with the executive team, leading strategic planning and spearheading key business development initiatives. You'll play a vital role in shaping the company's long-term vision, ensuring it's executed effectively. Additionally, you'll support high-level decision-making, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help steer the future direction of the company.

Your Tasks

• Strategic Planning & Execution: Lead the commercial and customer experience strategy as well as the overall company strategy for the tour operator business.
• Market & Competitive Analysis: Collect and analyze market trends, competitor positioning, etc. to develop and evaluate strategic options.
• Business Development: Evaluate new strategic growth opportunities, and identify new markets and business segments within the travel and tourism industry.
• Stakeholder Management: Build collaborative relationships across teams, maintain alignment with corporate strategy, and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Performance Monitoring: Develop KPIs and monitor the performance of strategic initiatives through data-driven analysis and regular reporting.
• Company Steering: Link strategic long-term goals with annual & quarterly targets processes and facilitate an effective and transparent target steering process across the organization.
• Executive Support: Assist the executive management team in decision-making, strategic prioritization, and execution of key initiatives.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Strategy, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategy development, business development, or management consulting within the travel and tourism sector.
• Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset and ability to derive insights from complex information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
• Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Familiarity with strategic planning frameworks and company steering methodologies.
