Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives and project requirements.
2. Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on quality, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
3. Negotiate contracts and terms to optimize pricing and delivery schedules while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to assess technical specifications and ensure supplier capabilities meet project needs.
5. Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to proactively mitigate risks and identify opportunities for improvement.
6. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in procurement processes to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
7. Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in strategic procurement within the defence or aerospace industry, with a strong understanding of defence procurement regulations.
3. Demonstrated negotiation skills and experience in managing supplier relationships.
4. Excellent analytical abilities and strategic thinking capabilities.
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
6. Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle) preferred.
